WELCOME MESSAGE

The Dipartimento di Architettura of the Florence University cordially invites all interested academics and profesionals to the debate on MODERN AGE FORTIFICATIONS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN COAST to present their contributions at the congress FORTMED 2016, as full paper or short paper.

All duly accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN, after paying the tuition by at least one author.

The fee includes the proceedings book. Submissions received after the deadlines may not be included in the conference proceedings.

The official languages of the Congress are Italian and English, it can however be also used Spanish, both for written and oral communication presentations.

In Congress simultaneous translation will NOT be performed.

For a better understanding, if the presentation has texts, they must be written in English.

There will be three awards to be assigned:

  • Best full paper
  • Best short paper
  • Best student paper
